DESCRIPTION:Summer Chill & Grill\, and Cornhole Tournament & Silent Auction Fundraiser for H.E.L.P! What better way to spend the summer than with family and friends\, enjoying BBQ\, refreshments\, a silent auction and a bit of competitive fun? This event will be held at the Newport Armory on Saturday\, August 1st\, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the LCSD Homeless Education & Literacy Program (H.E.L.P). There are 20 spots available for team registration. Teams of two can register for $40. Everyone is welcome to stop by and grab a hamburger or hot dog on the house. (While supplies last) This is a kid-friendly event\, so bring the family! Food and water provided\, BYOB (Beverages). Picnic style event\, so bring chairs\, blankets & coolers! We're looking for 10 sponsors to provide Cornhole board sets for this event and anyone who would like to contribute items for the silent auction or food and refreshments that day should contact the LCBR Office or add it to the spreadsheet below!
