September is REALTOR®  Safety Month! 

REALTORS® are all about SAFETY! Not only to be safe while out in the field but keeping our families and community safe too. Please join us in getting a firsthand look into local resources and information provided by Fire Chief, Jamie Mason of Central Coast Fire and Rescue & David Jamieson from North Lincoln CERT. House Representative David Gomberg will be providing information from the state legislation perspective, covering important safety resources and funding in our District, while also touching bases on Fire Safety and Emergency Planning. There have been countless fires happening statewide, none the less countrywide. Being prepared and knowledgeable to deal with the situation is what will keep everyone safe. Plus, our Safety Committee members are bringing you some fun games and prizes to take home! Leave this meeting more knowledgeable and better prepared.  SAFETY IS BY CHOICE, NOT BY CHANCE!

We are happy to introduce another Special Guest, Jeffrey Fleming of Second Home. A program of EMOregon that provides stable housing and ongoing support for unaccompanied students experiencing homelessness, so that they can focus on completing their secondary education and discover and realize their gifts and potential. Second Home provides supportive and safe housing options to needing students in Washington, Clackamas, East Multnomah & Lincoln Counties. Jeffrey will enlighten our members with valuable information as to what Second Home truly does for our community, as well as fellow communities!

The 2025 Lincoln County Board of REALTORS® Nomination Committee Election Slate has been completed and approved by the Board of Directors. The following ballot is now respectfully submitted to you for your consideration and approval:

The election of Officers and Directors shall take place at this meeting. We need your participation and support!
Additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed into nomination by petition, signed by at least 20% of the REALTOR® Members eligible to vote (approximately 60 signatures). If you wish to file a petition to be included on the September ballot, it must be received by the Executive Officer no later than 4:00 pm, Wednesday September 4th, 2024. Please contact the Board office with questions or for more information. 

Staff would like to thank all of our volunteer leaders for all you do and encourage all members to get involved in volunteer leadership- either through the Executive Board or on our amazing volunteer committees. Committee appointments will occur this Nov/Dec for next year. The LCBR Committees are: MLS Committee, Community Outreach Committee, Scholarship Committee, Membership & Education Committee, REALTOR Safety Committee, RPAC/Government Affairs Committee, Professional Standards & Grievance Committees.
