April is also Fair Housing Month! Joining us is LaTasha Beal, Oregon Real Estate Agency Board Member and Vice Chair of Oregon REALTORS® Diversity Committee.

The trash haulers of Lincoln County – Thompson’s Sanitary Service, Dahl Disposal Service, and North Lincoln Sanitary Service – will be joining us to talk about trash removal and junk hauling from properties, and the more expanded services now being offered, with more on the way! As the only entities franchised and permitted by Lincoln County and its cities to haul waste from properties (besides the property owners or the ones generating waste, like landscapers) they are bound to dispose of waste legally and also have set rates that include fees that go back to the county and cities. These fees help pay for deputies who deal with illegal dumpers, as well as for countywide programs like Household Hazardous Waste events, Tire Round Up events, and more, of which many Lincoln County residents benefit from. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of issues with folks hiring unqualified people advertising to haul waste and we’re seeing a big increase in loads being dumped in the woods. Come learn directly from the experts about the legal options for hauling waste in Lincoln County and how we can help keep our county clean!
