Jevra Brown, Aquatic Resource Planner for the Oregon Department of State Lands holds a B.S. in biology and a M.A.T. in teaching science. Jevra has been a dedicated coordinator for DSL for almost 19 years, with growing up in Oregon and earning an undergraduate from OSU! During this course, Jevra will instruct and cover topics in "Discovery and Next Steps" for Statewide and Local Wetlands Inventory. Course agenda consists of Definition of Terms (Delineations vs Determinations, etc.) Discovery with mapping for SWI or LWI- Map Dataset Limitations & information provided by DSL. The "Next Steps" - Determination and Responses explained. Ending the course with a brief DSL Overview on topics of Jurisdiction, the process of scheduling (delineation, permitting & mitigation) and Vs DSL waters ownership.
